The Uganda Manufacturers Association and its partners hosted the launch of the Green Industry Agenda, graced by the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robina Nabbanja. This marks a significant milestone for Uganda’s manufacturing sector among others as it commits to protecting the environment through a call to action for green manufacturing practices.

The Green Industry Agenda outlines a comprehensive strategy focusing on key areas such as ecosystem preservation, renewable energy adoption, self-regulation, waste management, capacity building, and research. This initiative aims to drive sustainable transformation within Uganda’s industrial landscape, positioning the manufacturing sector as a leader in environmental stewardship.
