Sk briquettes – Low carbon, Eco-Friendly, Affordable, and Burn 3X Longer

Email :118

The year was 2020, and the COVID-19 pandemic had cast a dark shadow over the world. For my family, the challenges only intensified as we grappled with the harsh reality of financial constraints and the reliance on wood-based fuels like charcoal and firewood for cooking. The situation worsened, forcing my mother to reduce our daily meals from three to just one, a heartbreaking reality that left an indelible mark on our lives.

Inspired by the urgent need for sustainable cooking solutions, I knew that something had to be done to alleviate the burdens faced by families like mine. In June 2021, Smart Kitchen Solutions was born, with a mission to create a healthier, more sustainable future.

Over the past two years, our journey has been nothing short of remarkable. We have not only created 32 job opportunities but have also positively impacted over 3,480 individuals in our community. Our unwavering commitment to environmental and social responsibility has led us to collect an astonishing 107,700 kilograms of organic waste and help save 57,700 kilograms of carbon emissions through our eco-friendly briquettes.

Yet, our path has not been without its challenges. Penetrating the market and breaking down the biases surrounding briquettes has required strategic product development and extensive collaboration with our clients. Accessibility has also been a hurdle, but we are leveraging technology and forging partnerships to expand our reach.

As we continue to push the boundaries of innovation, our plans include the development of improved cooking stoves that can help our target communities save more and cook in cleaner environments. Through repurposing waste into clean cooking fuel, we are not only embracing green practices but also addressing the needs of underserved communities.

We seek to ignite a sustainable cooking revolution, transforming challenges into opportunities and paving the way for a brighter future where everyone has access to healthier cooking environments, one eco-friendly solution at a time. Follow Details.
