The Green Jobs Research Project, a collaboration between Restless Development Uganda and Makerere University, is a significant initiative, commencing with the Foundation Training for Youth Researchers. The core purpose is to equip young researchers with the necessary tools and expertise to drive impactful research forward.
The ultimate goal of the Green Jobs Research Project is to identify the obstacles that hinder young individuals from accessing green jobs and to devise strategies to support their aspirations. Restless Development Uganda firmly believes that the potential of young people extends beyond merely creating employment opportunities within their communities. They have the capacity to do so while maintaining harmony with their environment.
Through this comprehensive training, they will gain proficiency in youth-led research methodologies, data collection techniques, data management, and field research skills.
With this collaboration, they are confident in making significant strides towards understanding and promoting green jobs for the youth. For Details.
